This weekend we actually had NOTHING to do! This was such a nice change of pace and we enjoyed running errands and hanging out together as a family. The weather was also very nice and not as humid as it has been which meant we could actually play outside! Saturday afternoon we decided to take a walk (with our new double stroller) to the park so that Mary Pat could burn off some energy and we could all enjoy some fresh air. This was actually Michael's first trip to the park where he wasn't sleeping and he really seemed to enjoy himself. He loved kicking back in his spacious new stroller seat and he even seemed to enjoy swinging with Daddy. Of course, once Michael was on the "big" swing with Daddy, Mary Pat had to be on the big swing too. However, she wanted to swing all by herself and held on very tight just like Mommy told her to! it was a great afternoon and we look forward to many more park trips as the fall weather sets in.
We would also like to thank our friends Michael and Susan Moriello for Michael's very hip Led Zeppelin onesie!

I know this post is really late but I actually forgot that I hadn't posted these pictures. Oh well, things got busy once I went back to work. We had a wonderful 4th of July celebrating the day with a BBQ/Pool party at the McCarthy's house in Huntington with the Simon Family, Kelly & Kevin, Al & Rosette, and Al's sister Kristen and her boys. Mary Pat and Michael had a blast and we enjoyed good food and fun! Enjoy more pictures
Mary Pat in one of her many red, white and blue outfits going to school on Thursday. This was the only day she let me take pictures in the morning.
She gets this lovely pose from Mommy! Poor thing stands just like me sometimes. YIKES!

July has been a fun-filled month! The month started off with a fun Fourth of July filled with yummy food and swimming with the Simon's, Tillis's and Kelly's! Aunt Shay Baby came to visit us the second weekend in July and we had a blast. Mary Pat was best buddies with Shay the entire weekend and Michael got in some quality snuggle time. Mommy didn't want to see her go and wishes she would just come live with us......haha! Unfortunately, Mommy had to go back to work in July so Michael started going to day care with Mary Pat. So far he seems to be enjoying himself and Mary Pat goes to visit him every day.

Michael didn't get to experience his first time in the pool until we arrived home from SC. We wanted to wait until after he had a few of his shots and got the okay from our pediatrician. As you can see from the pictures, poor Michael has to wear a lot of pool gear since he can't wear sunscreen yet. Our little irish guy sweats enough without having to be covered, good thing the water cools him off!
Daddy and Michael are ready for the pool in their swim shirts.
Trying to figure out what is going on.
Our SC adventures continued into June with a trip to Lake Bowen Fish Camp to eat dinner and feed the ducks. Chuck arrived for the third week were in Spartanburg. We visited Strawberry Hill for a yummy breakfast and went swimming at Hillbrook almost every night!
