On Sunday we decided to take Mary Pat for her first walk on the beach. Although it was a beautiful day, there was a bit of a breeze and it was not really warm enough to be considered pool or beach weather. Therefore, we decided to go to Jones Beach which has a boardwalk that we could walk along without having sand blown in our faces. After a bit of a walk so Mary Pat could take a nap, we decided to take her to the beach right off the boardwalk and let her put her feet in the sand. Mary Pat LOVED the sand! She could not get enough of it. She loved digging her feet into the sand almost as much as she loved people watching! We cannot wait for it to get hot enough so we can take Mary Pat closer to the ocean for a full beach day sometime soon! Here is a link to more pictures from the day as well as a few below.

Gee, I am a slacker...I haven't checked your blog in two days and low and behold more pictures and not a one from the trip home to Sparkle City! She is going to be like her Aunt Leenie and love the beach.
