1st Mets Game

Since meeting Mr. Met was such a hit (see earlier Mr. Met post) we decided to take Mary Pat to her first Met game, which was also the first game for all of us at Bailout Field, sorry, I mean Citi Field. In order to avoid the traffic and parking nightmares of driving all the way there, we just drove ten minutes to Manhasset and took the 15 minute LIRR ride from there. The new stadium was really nice and everyone loved Mary Pat's getup, especially the sunglasses. Luckily our seats were amongst the few that were in the shade so both MPK and Daddy were able to avoid the sun all day. All in all it was a great experience for all of us and we look forward to many more like it, especially if the Mets continue to play sub-.500 baseball all season which will make tickets easy to come by. Mary Pat was wonderful and even got her very own Mr. Met doll as a present for being such a good girl all day! Here are more pictures.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with friends and family. Mary Pat had a great time coloring Easter eggs and looking through her Easter basket. She has been a very good girl so the Easter Bunny brought her many treats. Throughout the week, Mary Pat modeled her many Easter themed outfits at school and wore her beautiful Easter dress from Aunt Shay Baby to church and lunch on Sunday! The Big Girl

Mary Pat is growing up so fast! This past Sunday we decided to go to the park. Since the weather was actually warm, Mary Pat didn't need her "bundle me" so we decided to try her in the "big girl" part of the stroller without her car seat. Well, it was a great success! Mary Pat had a wonderful time looking forward instead of up at the sky and sat up so well. All three of us are ready for the weather to stay warm so we can enjoy more time outside.

Mary Pat Visits the Easter Bunny!

This Saturday we took Mary Pat to see the Easter Bunny. We actually took her to see two different bunnies, however Mommy hasn't gotten the pictures from the second bunny uploaded yet. As you can tell, she was not fazed by the big bunny one bit and just smiled and laughed the entire time! She is ready for the Easter Bunny to visit her on Sunday.
