We had a great time at the pool on Sunday! Mary Pat LOVES the water. She loves to run around in the baby pool and has even started putting her face in the water and tries to blow bubbles! She also enjoys going into the big pool with Mommy and Daddy and loves to "jump" off the side after she counts 1.....2....3!Michael is getting used to the pool routine. He is still a little unsure of the water but will tolerate it for a bit longer than he was originally. He mainly spends his time in the baby pool looking around at all the action. On Sunday, he was drinking his bottle while in his stroller at the pool and started holding it all by himself! Mommy took lots of pictures to prove that she hadn't just propped the bottle up for him.
Our pool also has a covered playground next to the baby pool which is perfect for kids around Mary Pat's age. She absolutely loves it because she can go down the slides all by herself. This weekend we sat Michael next to her and pretended to have him "slide" down with her and she thought this was hysterical. She would have to kiss Michael each time she climbed up the stairs to go to the slide! Here are more pictures from our weekend adventures.
