Michael's Christening

On Sunday, October 17th we had Michael's Christening at our church, St. Anne's. We were very lucky to have all of Mommy and Daddy's immediate family on hand for the event as well as a few other aunts, uncles and friends! We were especially happy that Mommy's cousin "Uncle Jordan" and Daddy's sister "Aunt Michelle" were able to be Michael's godparents.

After the church service we had a party back at our house and got very lucky to have a beautiful(and warm) fall day to celebrate! It was definitely much different from the weather at MaryPat's christening. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day! A special thanks to Nana, Victoria, Aunt Shay, Uncle Knox, Aunt Shawnie, Uncle Jordan, Poppy and Mimi for flying up to spend the weekend with us (especially since Mary Pat was sick and whiny!). We had a great time and can't wait to see y'all again soon! MANY more pictures here.

He was not a big fan of the bonnet.

Nana thought it would be funny to let Michael smash his cake. He LOVED it!

Well it looks like I missed a very special time...the little " Lamb of God" looks so adorable in his "gown" and what a nice keepsake for him to have for his family. Proud of the "Godfather" especially for looking so handsome! What an honor for him and thank you again for asking him and for getting him there to be a part of this joyous occasion.
(The cake looked delicious and shame on the airline for not letting him bring it on board and home to me. XOXOXOXOX
